Born 1946, Norwich, England.
Plays piano.
Philip Pullman was educated in England, Zimbabwe, and Australia, before finally settling in North Wales. He attended Ysgol Ardudwy in Harlech, and then went to Exeter College, Oxford.
He taught at middle schools in Oxford before teaching at Westminster College.
