Philip Pullman

Popular author of His Dark Materials series. He also has a series of mysteries (the Sally Lockhart quartet), other contemporary novels, short stories, plays, and a children's series (the New Cut Gang). His fantasy books are listed below, for the time being.

Plays piano.
Philip Pullman was educated in England, Zimbabwe, and Australia, before finally settling in North Wales. He attended Ysgol Ardudwy in Harlech, and then went to Exeter College, Oxford.
He taught at middle schools in Oxford before teaching at Westminster College.
