Biography
Donna Jo Napoli lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is the mother of five children. In 1970 she received a BA in mathematics in 1970. In 1973 she received her Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University and then did a postdoctoral year in Linguistics at MIT.
She likes to garden, bake bread, and do Yoga; she is a huge fan of animals and has had lots of pets.
