"Mirror mirror on the wall….. "

Fantasy is very popular because it's like playing out a story. The games don't tend to be challenging, but instead offer very immersive worlds with highly developed plots and characters, stunning graphics, and tons of secrets and hidden sidequests that expand on the appeal of an already solid main storyline. You love the good guys and hate and fear the bad guys. The gameplay is innovative, and because each new game brings a new world with new characters, you don't get tired of the same things over and over again.

I think this site is not yet finished. Look at the few members.

Well I have read recently about the modern mirrors that are very known today. Not so sure about the details but it seems like an interesting site.

This is such a nice site

This was a wonderful story — beautiful writing that portrays kindness, love, sorrow, fear, superstition, and passion. Spellbinding, different from the usual fare, just as Keturah's stories would be to her townsfolk, and highly recommended.

My most recent read (as you may be able to tell from the most recent page creation) was The Princess and the Hound — very fairy-tale-esque. I quite liked it and would recommend it for fairy-tale readers and fantasy romance readers. The magic is very light-weight.

Back on April 10 I started adding pictures to some of the pages — it definitely adds to the look and feel of the site. If you add pics, I encourage you to keep them relatively small, but of good quality. Some of the pics up should probably be replaced with clearer versions, maybe a little bigger — that will come. I'm going to be taking some pictures with my digital camera to add more to the site — like a magic mirror on the opening page and such.

Also — create your portrait avatar and add it to the about page.

Why is fantasy so popular?

The YA fantasy genre has exploded in the past decade, while realistic “problem” novels, once the staple of YA, have faded into the background.

Is a young British wizard responsible? Are young readers, living in such serious and scary times, eager to escape into a fantastic other world? Or is fantasy just more fun to read?
